Sun Plugged Energy completed its first C&I project by financing a 100 kW solarization project for Dandemutande Investments. Dandemutande Investments is one of the leading ISPs in Zimbabwe and has expanded its network from Beitbridge to Harare through Bulawayo and Ngezi. Sun Plugged Energy, along with its EPC partner Solar Energy, solarized 10 of Dandemutande Investments’ base stations up to Harare. The project will give unlimited power access for the base stations, which in turn improves the Dandemutande network and, in general, improves connectivity. With financing from the Danish solar giants X-Solar Systems, Sun Plugged Energy is seeking to invest more in the C&I space and help businesses go green while reducing their energy bill and becoming profitable.
