Women and Youths Jobs in the Renewable Energy Sector

Sun Plugged Energy is employing women and youths in rural and peri-urban areas to distribute solar home systems and mobile phones. This is providing employment opportunities for these women and youths and introducing them to the renewable energy discourse. These women and youths are trained in solar sales and solar installation. Currently the organisation has over 60 sales and technical agents in the Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central provinces of Zimbabwe.
